Tee-Ball

Well - we had our first tee-ball game and it was so much fun. I was so proud of my baby - well, technically Jackson is not my baby anymore, but I was so so proud! Here is a photo of the team lining up for the national anthem. Richard helped out the coaches and is on the right hand side. Jackson is next to him in his untucked shirt. For some reason, he doesn't like his shirt tucked in, but I guess he rarely tucks them in. It was a challenge to keep him tucked!!
Here he is getting ready for his first hit - looks like he made the coach smile a bit!!
...and here he is running in for his first ever run. I was so proud of him!!

Here is the most adorable third baseman in the world!! Notice Richard back and to the right monitoring the outfield boys.

YEAH BROTHER!!!

Where does the time go...?

My goodness - a month has past me right by. How on earth did that happen? Here is a briefing of some of the events we attended.

August 2nd - Baby show for Erika and Bob.
Marshall, Jackson and Olivia watching gifts being opened - or at least staying the general vicinity. The next two are photos that Jackson took. Here is a picture of the happy parents-to-be opening gifts - note the cameraman's finger on the left of the photo.
...and an up close and personal look at Olivia...

My parents came the week of August 10th -16th to help baby sit Marshall before he started child care. Rosalie had the week off and my parent's got to spend a week with the boys. Here is Jackson helping Baba cook dinner - pierogies!!
And here are Baba, Grandma Gigi and Jackson after finishing a Ben 10 puzzle. It seemed like a nightly ritual while my parents were here.

August 16th was a busy day. We had Avery's 4th birthday party at Pump it Up in the morning...
After the kiddos party, the girls took a trip to a winery to celebrate Amy E's birthday. We went to dinner later, but for some reason - I don't have any pictures of that...
August 23rd was an interesting day. First we went to go see about Jackson's skills assessment for Tee-Ball which was slightly postponed due to a soggy field. We went to Denny's to kill some time and while we were there, I took these photos of Marshall. I love the story these pictures tell.

Here is Marshall with the lid to his bowl...
Now, he has dropped it on the floor and is looking at me like "Did you just see what I did?"
Yeah me!!
After breakfast we went back to the field for the "skills assessment". I didn't get any pictures of Jackson hitting the ball because I was feeding Marshall, but I did manage some photos of him catching grounders and throwing them to first base through the chain link fence. I was so proud!!!
After that, we drove up to Granbury to see a Rangers game. There was a rain delay, but thank goodness we were under the overhang....right Marshall?
And one last photo from breakfast the next morning with Grandpa's glasses...

Needless to say, it has been a busy month. I really need to make sure I take my camera everywhere. Jackson has had three practices already and his first game is Tuesday. Hopefully I will get some pictures up shortly though - his uniform is SO cute. I can't wait for the game!! Oh well - onto another month. I can't imagine why they seem to be passing by so quickly...

Birthday Weekend

Well - we spent the last weekend celebrating birthdays. Friday night we went over to Phil and Jamie's new house to celebrate Mak's 7th birthday. It was a lot of fun - for everyone.

Sunday afternoon we celebrated Rosalie's, aka Grandma's, birthday with a nice lunch and some ice cream cake before Grandpa left for Houston.

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

Nice Shirt

I guess I just realized that Jackson is wearing the same shirt in both pictures below. He really likes his skull and crossbones shirt - or his "skeleton" shirt as he likes to call it.

He speaks

Check it out!! Marshall saying buh-bye. He started doing it a lot yesterday, but this was at dinner tonight.

Jackson thinks it is pretty cool...

Aunt Mandy

Well, for those of you that don't know - Rosalie, my mother-in-law, is watching Marshall before he starts child care in about 6 weeks. Last week she called for reinforcements and my sister-in-law, Amanda, came to help. Help really is in the form of an extra pair of hands which help her get out of the house. Mandy is almost through with her summer vacation, but here is a photo of her chillin' on the couch with the two boys.

I steal well....

Well - This is my first post, but I stole this idea from the Queen of the family blog - Mrs. Courtney Engle. Her blog is amazing!! I even copied her web address - somewhat. All the variations of Harvey Family were taken, so I created the "austinharveys" just like her "austinengles" address. Hopefully she will think imitation is the highest form of flattery and not that I am just a crazy blog thief. I love her blog and thought it would be a good way for us to share stories and pics with friends and family - just wish I would have thought of it sooner.

I am starting this at work, so I better get back to work. I will post pics when I get a chance.

Blog ya later...
